The girl will take plunge in the Ganga in Kanpur on the eve of National Sports Day i.e. on August 29, will reach Varanasi on the tenth day. She will swim for approximately seven hours per day.
This is the distance covered in 13 olympic marathons.
This is not the first time when Shraddha will set a record. She has also set records by swimming 10 km from Ganga Barrage to Siddhnath when she was six-years-old,
while at the age of eight, she covered 16 km downstream in just 80 minutes.
